Who are you?
I’d describe myself as a fearless, genre-blending artist with a story to tell. I fell in love with music at a young age — before I even understood what fame or success meant. Back then, it was just about the feeling: hearing a song and knowing it spoke for me when I didn’t have the words. Over time, that love turned into a calling.
I move in the space between hip-hop/rap, pop, and a bit of alternative rock. I don’t believe in being boxed in — I create based on emotion, experience, and truth. Sometimes it’s raw bars with world-class wordplay, sometimes it’s melodic pain, sometimes it’s catchy and bold. But it’s always real. I’m heavily influenced by storytelling — I use my verses to reflect the world around me, especially the struggle, the silence, and the spirit of where I come from.
As an artist, I’m not chasing charts — I’m chasing impact. I want my music to live forever, to speak for the kid walking to school with headphones on, thinking about how to survive and dream at the same time. That’s who I do it for. I’m not here to just rap — I’m here to shift something.
Where are you from?
I’m from uMnambithi, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa — born and raised. The music scene back home is raw, vibrant, and full of untapped talent. You’ll find everything from hard-hitting hip-hop to deep-rooted traditional sounds and experimental waves that the world hasn’t even heard yet. It’s a place where the hunger is real — artists are grinding not just for fame but to be heard, to tell their stories, and to represent their communities. Shout out to every dreamer coming up from the 036 — from the corner freestylers to the bedroom producers, y’all inspire me every day. We turning pain into poetry, and struggle into sound.
