Who are you?
I'm definitely a pop singer and songwriter. I'm in this stage of exploring my sound/genres as an artist but I'm very much a lyricist and have been for years.
Where are you from?
So I'm from Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and the music scene here is very much centred on a genre called Bongo Flavour which has both afrobeat and hip hop influences. Some of the best hustlers I've ever seen come from here. I often call it the New York of Tanzania because if you can make it in this city, you can make it anywhere.
