DXVL (Daniel Luke) is a South London-based rapper, producer, and audio engineer. He first started playing drums in church at the age of seven before transitioning to producing beats and releasing secular music in 2015.
His artist name derives from a mix of his real name and his early musical inspirations: "D" and "L" are his initials, while "XV" was chosen for an aesthetic nod to A$AP Mob. Over the years, his music has evolved to blend classic hip-hop with trap, lo-fi, and alternative electronic sounds.
Following a period of personal growth and shifting his priorities toward his faith, his sound has become deeply reflective and centered on his spiritual journey. Today, he stays highly active in the underground music scene, writing, mixing, and releasing both his own solo material and collaborations with artists such as Bevie Hill.
