Austin Woodcock (Lead Vocals), Evan Butcher (Lead Guitar), Chris Richards (Bass), and Polly Clarkson (Drums) make up GLORIA. The four-piece band describes their sound as anthemic, psychedelic-infused alt-rock. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts such as Black Sabbath, Queen, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the outfit blends a wide range of styles and influences from many decades and genres to create a unique modern sound. We are from Manchester, England a city with a rich musical heritage. Manchester’s music scene, historically iconic, shaped punk and post-punk with Joy Division and The Smiths, while the 1990s Madchester era, led by The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, and Oasis’s Britpop anthems, thrived at The Haçienda. Oasis’s raw energy defined a generation. Today, Manchester pulses with diversity, hosting venues like Band on the Wall and Albert Hall.
