Who are you?
I'm professionally known as NateTNate. I've studied sound engineering straight after high school. Before then I started to pay interests in creating beats, soon other unkown local vocal and rap artist started to pay attention towards my instrumental creation , and joined me and form a group dedicated to create music. Since I'm coming from a diamond mining industry, I also found myself being a diamond recovery diver to fund my now startup record label company. My new music will be politically influenced, I'll also share some personal moments and events within my life.
Where are you from?
I'm from a small remote town in South Africa based on the Northern Cape's west coast in the Namaqualand region and the sub region would be Ritchersveld. The music scene this side is mostly Afrobeats and house influenced. About just over 10years ago that started to change as rap artist and hiphop enthusiasts started to influence the whole area. I was one of the only people in the area that was participating in recording music on a more or less consistent level. At first I didn't realize there's a specific method of releasing music, so I just uploaded a few tracks on web pages like SoundCloud and audiomack. Today hiphop music alongside with afro pop is currently the biggest music genre's in the area
