Who are you?
With its particular versions of classics and original creations, La Failde has performed in more than twenty cities in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Martinique and Peru, including such important stages as the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Gran Teatro Nacional in Lima , the Salón Los Ángeles in Mexico City and the Place des Arts in Montreal.
In a decade of professional work, the group has accumulated 5 studio albums and collaborations with artists such as Omara Portuondo, Andy Montañez, Johnny Ventura, Silvio Rodríguez, Pancho Amat, Aymée Nuviola, Gaby Moreno and Alexander Abreu. La Failde has received important recognitions such as the 2019 Cubadisco Special Award and the Excelencias del Arte Award and the Latin Grammy nomination in 2020. Reviews of our work have appeared in Billboard, The Washington Post, La Jornada, Le Monde, Chicago Tribune, Songlines and Jazz Wise Magazine. We have performed for personalities such as the King and Queen of Spain, the presidents Barack Obama and Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
La Failde now is currently promoting its fifth album, from which two singles have been released and which will be available in its entirety in 2023.

The Orquesta Failde is Latin Grammy nomenees. We are a group of young musicians united in a charanga format with extended brass sections to give life to a repertoire that goes to the root of traditional Cuban music, which includes danzón, cuban son, mambo, chachachá, bolero, timba, rumba, salsa and more.
