Who are you?
I’d describe myself as an artist who blends Afro house and tech house to create a sound that’s both rhythmic and atmospheric. My music is driven by groove and energy, with African-inspired percussion layered over deep, modern electronic elements. I focus on creating tracks that connect on the dancefloor but also have a distinct mood and identity.
Where are you from?
I’m 22 and I’m from Durban, South Africa. The music scene here is really energetic and unique—Durban is actually the home of gqom, so there’s a strong culture of hard, bass-heavy sounds that come straight from the streets and local clubs.
At the same time, amapiano is huge right now, so you hear a lot of that too—more melodic but still perfect for vibing and dancing. Artists like DJ Lag helped put Durban on the map, and now the whole country’s sound is going global.
Overall, the scene is lively, creative, and always evolving—it’s all about good vibes, dance, and community.
